You fall and make mistakes. You do things you wish you had never done. You know how it feels to be in a great temptation and to feel horrible because you are so strongly tempted by the lusts and desires in your human nature. You know how miserable it feels when you give in to temptation in a moment of weakness and when it feels like things can never be made right again. You might feel that God is angry with you. You might even doubt that you have received forgiveness for what you have done.
In such moments, it can be difficult to remember that God still loves you. It might even be hard for you to pray, to ask for help, because you feel so ashamed of how terrible and weak you are.
But God knows you better than you know yourself. He sees that you sorrow over your sins and that you really want to change. (Psalm 51:17.) He is waiting for you to come to Him to get the help and power you need to overcome! (Hebrews 4:16.)
Read this collection of Bible verses that is written in the form of a letter of love from God to you. Many of the verses have been reworded to make them easier to understand. Remember that God is close and is truly interested in you, personally!
