If you walk in the light you are obedient to all that God shows you through the Holy Spirit. For example, when He shows you that you need to overcome laziness, or lying, or any other sinful desire. This means that you put to death all the sin you are shown (get light over) and obey all commandments God gives you. When you do this you don’t carry out the desires of your sinful human nature. (1 John 1:7; John 3:18-21; John 8:12; Romans 8:1-4; Galatians 5:16; Galatians 5:25.)
