Deeds of the body

Deeds of the body (Romans 8:13) are things that we see are wrong only after we have done them, because the Holy Spirit points them out to us; our eyes are then opened to the fact that they were wrong. Therefore, anything wrong that we do unconsciously—we don’t knowingly agree to it—is a deed of the body. We are not judged guilty and we are not punished for these deeds of the body when we accept it when the Spirit points out to us that they are wrong, and then overcome them with the help of the Spirit. (Romans 7:25; Romans 8:1-2.)
